About the position

The Last Mile Site Manager at Maersk is responsible for overseeing the logistics and operations of last-mile delivery services in Las Vegas. This role involves coordinating communication between various teams, ensuring compliance with procedures, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining high customer service standards. The position requires a strong focus on problem-solving and effective communication to enhance the delivery process and address any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication flow between Haulers, Delivery Teams, Flatbed Drivers, Call Center, and Local Client Management Teams.
• Provide on-site presence to ensure compliance with procedures by Haulers and Delivery Teams.
• Oversee the recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Ensure follow-up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in-home damage claims.
• Interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery.
• Maintain monthly operation reports including statistics and customer service scores.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in last mile management or logistics operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent mathematical skills for calculations related to logistics.
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals relevant to the business.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
