About the position

As a Complex Field Property Adjuster at Allstate, you will provide exceptional service to policyholders by conducting on-site inspections, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims efficiently. This role focuses on fire and water losses, requiring travel to customers' homes and handling virtual claims nationwide. You will embody Allstate's Claims Culture, acting as a customer service expert, investigator, effective communicator, negotiator, problem solver, and recorder, ensuring a fast, fair, and easy claims process.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections and investigate coverage.
• Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently.
• Handle virtual claims using various platforms and software such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration.
• Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers.
• Maintain clear records of work in a claims system and ensure timely documentation of each claim.
• Utilize multiple tools and critical thinking skills to assess damages and expedite claims settlements.

Requirements

• 4 years of previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired.
• Experience handling claims with multiple trades and over $25,000 in losses.
• Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for estimating.
• Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for exceptional customer service.
• Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims effectively.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as part of the job requirements.
