About the position
The Landscape Project Architect at Mariani Landscape is responsible for creating innovative and functional landscape designs that enhance outdoor living spaces. This role involves collaborating with a team of designers, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring that projects meet high standards of creativity and technical precision. Responsibilities
- Prepare stunning landscape designs from initial sketches to polished presentations using hand drafting and digital tools like AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with the design team, share insights, and mentor junior designers to elevate each project's creative potential.
- Develop proposals, cost estimates, and project packages that turn imaginative concepts into practical, beautiful plans.
- Conduct site analyses, develop grading and drainage plans, and combine traditional drafting and digital design skills for technical accuracy and beauty.
- Bridge communication across design, construction, and sales, ensuring every detail aligns with high standards and client expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a degree in Horticulture.
- Experience in landscape design, particularly in residential projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or hand drafting skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to manage deadlines and bring functional, visually striking designs to life.
