Responsibilities

  • Serve in a firm-wide leadership capacity pursuing and implementing legacy work through exceptional design, project documentation, planning, business development, and/or project management.
  • Provide landscape architecture, planning and project management services to a wide variety of private and public clients.
  • Perform project manager or lead designer/planner role on projects of various scales.
  • Support other project managers or designer/planners on large, complex projects.

Requirements

  • Four years (ideally 5-7 years) of demonstrated skill in site design, technical design documentation and construction observation experience.
  • Project management and business development experience.
  • Successful management of projects from conceptual design through completion of construction documents.
  • Proven experience producing drawings and specifications from the schematic stage through construction observation.
  • Self-motivated with the desire and ability to lead others in the design and construction documentation/construction observation process.
  • Passionate about engaging and retaining clients.
  • Ready to mentor less-experienced staff and build a strong studio-based culture.
  • An undergraduate and/or graduate degree from an accredited landscape architecture program is required.
  • Landscape Architecture Licensure is required.
  • Candidates with a master's degree or dual degrees in both landscape architecture and urban design, architecture or planning are strongly encouraged to apply.
