Land Warfare Role Player (LWRP) - TUCSON

About the position

We are seeking Land Warfare Role Players (LWRP) to support a formal course conducting full mission profiles in both Land and Maritime environments. This is a temporary contract position aligned with the course schedule and locations throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the Ground Forces Commander or Government Lead Instructor to provide realistic role players for each scenario.
• Act as both friendly and enemy forces during the Land FMPs or serve as medical patients depending on each scenario.
• Be equipped with appropriate protective gear and follow the guidance of the GFC to provide realistic training scenarios.

Requirements

• Prior service as an infantryman or combat arms military occupational skill.
• Basic rifle qualification from military service.
• Ability to lift and carry 200 lbs. for 400 meters nonstop.
• Must be able to ruck 6 miles with a 35 lbs. pack in less than 2 hours.
• Knowledge and proficiency in the safe handling and use of firearms, small arms, including SIM, UTM, paintball, and blank-firing weapons, and pyrotechnics, including diversionary munitions; training hand grenades; RPG, IED, IDF, and CAS simulators; and smoke effects.
• Comfortable wearing cultural, BLUFOR, & OPFOR attire relevant to each scenario; being physically searched; being shot with marking ammunition; being around loud noises; and receiving application of moulage.
• Must be able to swim 200 meters non-stop within 15 minutes and tread water for 5 minutes in still waters (lake, pool, pond, etc.).
