About the position

The Land Development Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of land development projects from initial planning and entitlements through to execution and completion. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee land development projects from conception to completion
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met
• Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies for potential development sites
• Obtain necessary entitlements and permits for development projects
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including local government, residents, and community groups
• Prepare and present project proposals to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in land development or related fields
• Proven experience in managing residential construction projects
• Strong understanding of entitlements and regulatory processes
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
