About The Position
Our Saint John GFL site is looking for a labourer! This role involves performing industrial cleaning tasks, including using Hot Wash, High Pressure, and Hose Truck. It also requires confined space entry and the ability to lift up to 50lbs for tasks such as setting up and controlling hoses, and shoveling waste material. The Labourer will support the operation of the vacuum truck and mobile wash, and represent the Company by providing professional customer service to clients, customers, and vendors. The position requires participation in all assigned work-related tasks at various locations in a safe and effective manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Class 5 license is required
- Must have good communication skills to be able to interact verbally with peers and customers
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working at heights
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial cleaning using Hot Wash, High Pressure and Hose Truck
- Confined space entry
- Lift up to 50lbs to set up and control hoses, and to shovel waste material
- Support the operation of the vacuum truck and mobile wash
- Represent the Company by providing professional customer service to our clients, customers, vendors, both on and off the job
- Participate in all work related tasks as assigned by your Supervisor at a variety of locations in a safe and effective manner
- Other duties as assigned
