About the position

The Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of PSD services to customers. This position involves performing quality assurance tests on products, preparing lab reports, and providing advanced technical support for additive selection and fluid design. The technician collaborates with various teams to enhance service quality and maintain compliance with laboratory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Lab Analysis: Perform quality assurance tests on company products and services.
• Prepare and present laboratory reports accurately and on time.
• Support advanced additive selection and fluid design development.
• Maintain clean, operational laboratory equipment and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with laboratory standards and protocols.
• Assist Design Engineers and Product Champions by providing technical support.
• Perform risk analyses to identify and mitigate safety or quality concerns before tasks.
• Actively participate in Service Quality Meetings and implement performance improvement plans.
• Support Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
• Experience in laboratory settings, preferably in quality assurance or testing.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare and present technical reports and presentations.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and HSE policies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additive selection and fluid design.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment maintenance and waste disposal procedures.
• Previous experience in a role that required compliance audits.
