About the position

Responsibilities
- Represent clients in administrative hearings, including making opening statements and taking direct testimony.
- Cross-examine adverse witnesses and make objections during hearings.
- Draft closing briefs using transcripts of proceedings.
- Conduct legal research and write opinions on labor law issues.
- Negotiate labor contracts and handle labor arbitrations.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree and membership in good standing with the California Bar.
- 3+ years of experience in labor law or related field.
- Excellent command of the English language, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in briefs and oral arguments.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
