LA-25 Maintenance Class A

About the position

International Paper has an opening for an experienced maintenance technician at our manufacturing facility in Lancaster, PA. This facility manufactures solid fiber products for local and national customers. Successful candidate must possess multi-trade skills in mechanical, electrical, programmable controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, steam systems, machine shop operations and welding. Must have the ability to trouble shoot and make necessary repairs. Candidates must have good mechanical aptitude, read electrical schematics, and strong problem solving skills. Experience with corrugating and converting equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Utilize multi-trade skills including welding and machine shop operations.
• Work weekends and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Electrical background highly desirable.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with corrugating and converting equipment.
