The Inventory Clerk II position at The Crosby Group involves managing inventory processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The role includes conducting cycle counts, validating inventory both physically and electronically, and collaborating with team members to maintain high customer satisfaction. This full-time position is essential for supporting the company's operations in lifting and material handling applications across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts and perform inventory adjustments as needed
- Validate inventory
- Manage the entire inventory process flow to ensure proper work prioritization throughout the day
- Maintain all inventory documentation in a systematic method
- Receive and inventory parts in the warehouse and execute transactions in a computer system
- Provide needed copies of inventory documentation when requested
- Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Help train new clerks
- Respond to phone calls and/or emails regarding inventory as needed
- Organize the work area to ensure the integrity of the inventory
- Input order information into customer/carrier websites as needed
- Evaluate work for errors
Requirements
- Basic math and reading skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- 1 year of related experience
- Experience with computers/inventory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
