About the position

The Kitchen Steward position at College Fresh offers an opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry while working in a professional kitchen environment. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and supporting kitchen operations, ensuring a high standard of service and adherence to sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes and pots/pans at the designated College Fresh account.
• Performing additional clean-up duties as specified by the supervisor.
• Mopping, sweeping, and conducting other daily cleaning functions.
• Setting up dining room tables for service and filling waters and beverages.
• Serving food and bussing tables.
• Providing excellent customer service and representing College Fresh in front of clients.
• Adhering to all management, client, local, and state cleaning and sanitation procedures/regulations.
• Assisting with food preparation as required or directed by the Chef.
• Completing all other duties as assigned or agreed upon with the Chef or Campus/Regional Manager.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Capability to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less.
