Responsibilities

  • Oversee operation, repair, P.M. relating to site/metro culinary equipment and systems; determine frequency of repair and/or P.M. of systems.
  • Understand the engineering design and operational aspects of the building and critical support systems and components of the kitchens/cafes.
  • Monitor operation and maintain heating and cooling systems directly related to each kitchen/cafe, water cooling/heating equipment; heating and hot water equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters.
  • Review logs to ensure proper operation of equipment; report any problems/malfunctions on an as needed basis.
  • Check malfunctioning equipment and ascertain corrective action required to restore to satisfactory operating condition.
  • Confer/communicate with work order requestors.
  • Coordinate with client representatives to understand their needs and ensure the work scheduled takes into account the operational windows for repair.
  • Prioritize all PM's, corrective, and emergent work orders for the site/metro.
  • Schedule and assign work to individuals/vendors with the assistance of the Facility Coordinator.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Complete all assigned JLL and Client required training and comply with the established training standards at all times.
  • Perform any and all other tasks and duties assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of similar working experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate well both in oral and written reports.
  • Ability to frequently lift 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to safely bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, and turn frequently.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
