Responsibilities
- Oversee operation, repair, P.M. relating to site/metro culinary equipment and systems; determine frequency of repair and/or P.M. of systems.
- Understand the engineering design and operational aspects of the building and critical support systems and components of the kitchens/cafes.
- Monitor operation and maintain heating and cooling systems directly related to each kitchen/cafe, water cooling/heating equipment; heating and hot water equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters.
- Review logs to ensure proper operation of equipment; report any problems/malfunctions on an as needed basis.
- Check malfunctioning equipment and ascertain corrective action required to restore to satisfactory operating condition.
- Confer/communicate with work order requestors.
- Coordinate with client representatives to understand their needs and ensure the work scheduled takes into account the operational windows for repair.
- Prioritize all PM's, corrective, and emergent work orders for the site/metro.
- Schedule and assign work to individuals/vendors with the assistance of the Facility Coordinator.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Complete all assigned JLL and Client required training and comply with the established training standards at all times.
- Perform any and all other tasks and duties assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of similar working experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate well both in oral and written reports.
- Ability to frequently lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to safely bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, and turn frequently.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
