About the position

Kitchen Tune-Up Bethesda, Potomac and Gaithersburg is hiring a commission-based full-time design consultant. We are a fast-growing locally-owned and operated small business dedicated to providing quickly completed high-quality kitchen updates. We are focused on solutions that best utilize our clients’ spaces and budgets to deliver the new kitchen of their dreams. We are part of a national franchise system that is almost 40 years old. We will provide you with pre-qualified leads and five to eight appointments per week in Montgomery County, MD. We offer health, dental and vision insurance. High performing individuals can expect to earn $100,000-150,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned sales lead flow.
  • Conduct in-home sales appointments following the Kitchen Tune-Up sales process and provide same-day quotes using our CRM.
  • Close sales at a minimum of 30% rate.
  • Maintain timely and frequent communications with clients throughout their projects, and promptly follow-up with prospects.
  • Maintain detailed client notes in our CRM software.
  • Create approval documents for sold projects and attend measuring appointments.
  • Communicate regularly with the franchise owner and sales manager and follow instructions for the sales process.
  • Represent the brand professionally in appearance and position yourself as an industry professional.
  • Generate leads at semi-annual home shows and other networking, industry, and local events.

Requirements

  • Previous design education and/or work experience with at least some knowledge of kitchen design principles and design styles.
  • Some sales experience with an ability to demonstrate a strong history of closing sales with confidence.
  • Professional, self-motivated and detail oriented with excellent reporting and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated, dependable, collaborative, enthusiastic, friendly, and with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to embrace and use technology.
  • Commitment to the mission, vision and values of the company.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must obtain and retain MHIC sales license.

Nice-to-haves
