This position involves overseeing our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback "happy hour" for guests, ensuring exceptional experiences for both team members and guests. You will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and lobby area, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your role will also include answering guest questions and providing courteous, friendly service to promote the Drury culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and clean-up.
  • Ensure the kitchen and lobby area are clean and well organized.
  • Meet food safety standards and maintain appropriate supply levels.
  • Present and maintain high standards of integrity, service, and hospitality.
  • Answer guest questions using knowledge of the hotel, area, and events.
  • Provide courteous, friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of hotel accommodations, community, and hotel services.
  • Ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels.
  • Warm and friendly manner in communicating with guests.
  • Ability to speak and receive direction in English.
