About the position

George Gee GMC - KIA is a reputable automotive dealership located in the greater Spokane area. We are currently looking to expand our Service Department and need a skilled and experienced KIA Technician. The ideal KIA Technician will be highly proficient in diagnosing and repairing KIA vehicles, ensuring top-notch service and customer satisfaction. This individual should be able to take on complex tasks and have the ability to work as a team mentor for junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair KIA vehicles, including engine failure, electrical and mechanical systems, and related issues.
• Conduct inspections and perform services as per KIA manufacturer guidelines.
• Handle diagnostics, repairs, and replacements of vehicle parts.
• Assist and mentor other technicians on the team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high standard of quality.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience working on KIA vehicles (or relevant import brand experience).
• ASE Certification preferred.
• CDK experience is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to digital MPI with photo and video inspections.
• Valid Driver's License and personal tools required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
