About The Position
1-800-GOT-JUNK? is seeking friendly, motivated, and hardworking individuals to join their team as Junk Removal Specialists. This role offers a fun, active, outdoor summer job with the opportunity to make a daily impact. Specialists will ride in company trucks, visit customer sites, and provide exceptional service by performing walkthroughs, explaining pricing, safely removing unwanted items, and ensuring a positive customer experience while working efficiently with their team.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for most of the day
- Reliable, team-oriented, and ready to learn
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver’s license (preferred but not always required)
Responsibilities
- Performing walkthroughs with customers to identify items for removal
- Clearly explaining our upfront pricing and service process
- Safely removing and loading unwanted items (furniture, appliances, yard waste, etc.)
- Providing a positive, professional, and respectful customer experience
- Working closely with your team to complete each job efficiently
