About the position
The Junior Simulator Operator at Cape Fox Corporation is responsible for creating and managing simulation scenarios and GPS mapping for training purposes. This role involves operating simulators, supporting mission planning, and providing subject matter expertise to enhance training programs and mission planning processes.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and manage Global Positioning System (GPS) mapping tiles and targets for virtual landscaping and sensor targeting requirements.
- Create and modify simulation scenarios using Extended Air Defense Simulator (EADSIM) or current simulation tools for RQ-170 crew training.
- Operate and manage simulators for training and test purposes, providing white force and external injects to scenarios.
- Maintain proficiency with mission planning processes and manage simulator mission plans and scenarios.
- Support mission planners with Order of Battle information and assist in building mission plans as required.
- Liaise with the System Program Office (SPO) and other DoD organizations to advise on LO ISR system capabilities and initiatives.
- Advise on managing and improving LO ISR mission planning processes and training requirements.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to LO ISR related exercises and tests.
- Advise on the development and implementation of a LO ISR mission planning training program.
- Support program management reviews and working groups.
Requirements
- Minimum of four and a half years of experience in flight mission planning and utilizing mission planning systems for military weapon systems within the last two years.
- Experience with Air Defense Systems, Electronic Warfare, and threat system capabilities as they pertain to mission planning.
- Top Secret/SCI w/SAP/SAR eligibility.
- Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with LO mission planning is desirable but not required.
