CACI is seeking a Junior CNC Machinist with a minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience. The role involves determining and performing appropriate set up of CNC Vertical machining centers for programs provided by CAM programmers, designing and building fixtures, and programming at the control to build fixtures and edit CAM generated programs. The machinist will also be responsible for selecting appropriate cutters and tool holders, setting up and operating a full range of machine tools, and maintaining dimensional accuracy during machining processes. The position requires the ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings, perform machine shop math and trigonometry, and adhere to safety protocols. The working conditions may involve exposure to various environmental factors and the use of hazardous materials.
