About The Position

Beacon Group is seeking a patient, flexible, and dedicated Job Coach to work with, train, and supervise a team of adults with disabilities. This is a hands-on position where you will provide top-of-the-line services for the individuals on the team while also providing quality service to the customers Beacon serves. The specific services provided will depend on the location and site needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months of experience working with adults with disabilities.
  • Increased technical skills related to field of work.
  • Successfully pass the drug test and background check.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
  • Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.
  • Provide proof of good driving.
  • Have a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass the Beacon driving test.
  • Article IX, and Prevention and Support certificate or able to obtain and maintain certification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a GSA clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide top of the line services for the individuals on the team.
  • Provide quality service to the customers Beacon serves.
  • Train and supervise a team of adults with disabilities.
  • Write accurate, clear, and informative case notes.
  • Balance, bend, stand, walk, kneel, twist, stretch, climb, and sit.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Tolerate environmental conditions, such as hot, cold, wetness, dust, noise, etc.
  • Work, drive, and travel independently to various sites.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Follow instructions.
  • Work effectively with staff, clients, and the public.
  • Be flexible and work in a team environment.
  • Use good judgment.
  • Meet deadlines.
  • Learn and use equipment.
  • Use power tools, equipment, and machinery.
