About the position
At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Blend Operator based in Jacksonville, Florida! In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring equipment for malfunctions and defects, repairing and solving minor problems without assistance and eliminating potential threats to production. You will communicate effectively with appropriate personnel regarding recurring problems, needs for repair and product integrity. You will dismantle and reassemble pipe and valve network; transfer components to and from cleaning basins within floor to overhead level. You will follow QMS, Good Manufacturing Practices and 5S methodology to maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area, maintaining audit ready status at all times. You will receive milk/cream tankers, sugar, corn syrup and any other ingredient for blending product. You will operate both wet and dry mix blending and batching as needed.

Requirements
- High School education or equivalent.
- Ability to learn all functions of the job within a reasonable amount of time.
- Ability to pass tests required for this position.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions and to keep accurate written records.
- Ability to work various hours and shifts.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
