About the position
Berlitz Languages is seeking a Japanese Instructor to deliver language education to children and teens. The role involves teaching in-person lessons, maintaining student records, and integrating technology into the curriculum. The program runs from mid-November to May 2025, with classes scheduled Monday through Thursday mornings and occasional Friday sessions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons in-person in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles, focusing on the goals, needs, and interests of students.
- Keep student pedagogical and attendance records up to date.
- Integrate learning technology into teaching programs and maintain shared teaching resource materials.
- Manage groups of up to 20 students effectively.
- Ensure reliable transportation to various school locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Teaching experience is required.
- Ability to speak English fluently.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Flexibility with work hours and availability.
