About the position
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Janitor/Maintenance professionals to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, as well as basic maintenance tasks to support the overall functionality of the premises.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial and residential settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties, ensuring all areas are sanitized and free from hazards.
- Handle custodial responsibilities such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface cleaning.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in residential painting is a plus but not required.
