The James Hardie Siding Installer position is an independent contractor role based in San Antonio, TX, focused on the installation of James Hardie fiber cement siding. Responsibilities

• Proficiently install James Hardie fiber cement siding according to industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and project requirements.
• Ensure the highest quality of workmanship and attention to detail in all siding installations to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Complete projects within specified timelines, coordinating with project managers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and the team.
• Responsible for proper handling, cutting, and installation of James Hardie siding materials to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, team members, and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in James Hardie fiber cement siding installation.
• All crew members must have the necessary licenses and insurance coverage required for independent contracting.
• Minimum of $2 million in coverage for Comprehensive General Liability and $1 million for Workers Compensation, as well as Automobile Liability Insurance.
• Provide your own tools and equipment, including nail guns (trim & coil), saws, ladders, and pump jacks.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation for yourself, your crew, and your tools and equipment.
• Consistent track record of meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
• Prioritize safety on the job site and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients.
• Ability to pass a background check and show proof of eligibility to work in the US.
