About the position

The IT Support Technician at ZipRecruiter is responsible for maintaining the integrity of computer workstations and associated technology within the office. This role serves as the main point of contact for end users experiencing technical issues, ensuring smooth operation and support for various IT-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Tier 1 Field Engineering tickets in person or remotely
• Assist personnel with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of end user hardware and software
• Image (PC/macOS) laptops
• Troubleshoot and triage VOIP softphone issues
• Provision and deprovision end user accounts and equipment
• Troubleshoot VPN, printers, conference room technology, and dashboard TVs
• Set up A/V equipment and assist with monitoring of large scale meetings
• Maintain inventory management system
• Ensure upkeep of server room, conference room, and storage room
• Assist with moving workstation technology
• Facilitate IT related training during New Hire Orientation

Requirements

• 1 or more years of helpdesk, technical support, or customer support experience
• Exhibit working knowledge of both Windows and macOS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field
