Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs to ensure systems security policies are adhered to by users.
- Act as a cybersecurity technical advisor for the organization.
- Maintain a repository for all cybersecurity-related documentation.
- Monitor information systems and user compliance with cybersecurity policy.
- Coordinate cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews with affected parties.
Requirements
- At least one year of information technology-related experience in federal service or private/public sector.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in IT-related tasks.
- Experience in customer service, assessing needs and resolving problems.
- Effective oral communication skills, including making presentations and collaborating with teams.
- Problem-solving skills, including identifying issues and making recommendations.
Nice-to-haves
- Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Three years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.
