About the position

The incumbent will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for documenting, maintaining, upgrading, or replacing hardware and software systems; as well as supporting and maintaining user account information including rights, security and system groups.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
  • Use remote diagnostic and maintenance tools to resolve issues when appropriate.
  • Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware and peripherals.
  • Maintain records of support activities as required by departmental policy.
  • Work well as a member of a highly technical support team.
  • Organized approach to daily business is required.
  • Perform other departmental duties as may be required by Management.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hazard-free work environment.

Requirements

  • Professional certification and 0-3 years experience in hardware, software and network diagnostics.
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Neat appearance and professional conduct.
  • Strong people skills combined with efficient time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Experience with mid-range systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency at operating computers and software programs.
  • A+ Certification and one of the following: MTA 349: Windows OS Fundamentals, 365: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals, 366: Networking Fundamentals, 367: Security Fundamentals or MS Office Specialist Certification (At least one product is also required within 3 months of hire).
