About the position

The IT Security Incident Response Specialist is responsible for managing and responding to security incidents within the organization. This role involves utilizing advanced knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and methods to protect the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security standards, and implementing effective security measures to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Utilize knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and methods to protect IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO, PCI, HIPAA, and SOX.
  • Implement effective security measures to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct forensic analysis and countermeasures in Linux and Windows infrastructures.
  • Design and maintain secure network architectures and application operations.
  • Monitor security software and systems for potential threats.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience related to Cyber- or Information Security in an IT production environment.
  • Several years of related work experience in IT-Service-Delivery, IT-Operations, or IT-Architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and methods, including threat landscapes and standards.
  • Experience with network technologies and network security, including routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows infrastructures for forensic analysis and countermeasures.
  • Experience in system and network design, as well as application operations and hardening.
  • Knowledge of O365 and Azure Security.
  • Familiarity with authorization and authentication procedures for networks, computers, and applications.
  • Understanding of monitoring and security software such as IDS and IPS.
  • Experience with firewalls and PKI knowledge.
  • Knowledge of encryption technology and network protocols such as TCP, UDP, IPSec, SSL, and DNS.
