About the position
The IT Project Assistant internship at Bass Pro Shops offers a 10-week immersive experience designed for students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business while developing their professional skills. Interns will work closely with IT Project Managers and other departments, contributing to various projects and gaining valuable insights into the company's operations and commitment to the outdoors and conservation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supporting IT Project Managers across all project phases.
- Collaborate with business analysts, infrastructure, development, security, and management for technical direction and system design.
- Help manage project artifacts such as Project Charter, Business Requirements, Detailed Plans, and status reports.
- Communicate with vendors and internal customers regarding project deliverables and manage expectations.
Requirements
- Completion of Junior year of college through graduating year.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Eligible to work in the US.
- Ability to relocate to the work location for the duration of the program.
