About the position

The Product Owner at Consumer Cellular is responsible for defining a data-driven product vision and prioritizing opportunities to enhance customer experiences. This role requires collaboration across various teams to develop new products and services, author user stories, and manage project execution in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions while balancing business needs and technical constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Define a data-driven product vision, develop business cases and requirements, and prioritize competing opportunities.
  • Partner with other teams across Consumer Cellular to identify and influence development of new products and services.
  • Interact with stakeholders at multiple levels and in multiple locations, and work with business, operations, tech, and BI teams to define and deliver solutions.
  • Author user stories and product requirements, while contributing to the technical design of new product features.
  • Work directly with technical teams to build exceptional products.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical or operational constraints.
  • Utilize Agile methodology & tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Understand dimensions of data quality.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on incident management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive experience with IT project execution.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related and applicable experience.
  • Experience authoring stories and documenting requirements in tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Verifiable success of performance against goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience working in Scrum Agile.
  • Experience with the SDLC and tools: Jira, Confluence, GitHub, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
