The IT Procurement Specialist works with IT Leadership, vendors, suppliers, and 3rd Parties to ensure timely orders and deliveries are met at an effective price point. The IT Procurement Specialist will work with IT Leadership and vendors in negotiating the company’s purchasing agreements, and planning and creating purchase orders (POs). The IT Procurement Specialist will also track expenditures, provide reports on budget performance, inventory, and other requested reports. In addition, the IT Procurement Specialist will organize, manage, update, and assist with negotiations on leases, service, software, and support contracts and track appropriately. The IT Procurement Specialist will also assist in the process of 3rd party risk evaluation of purchases.
