About the position

As an IT Operations Specialist at Roche, you will be instrumental in addressing IT-related needs within the organization. Your role involves collaborating with various IT teams to implement effective solutions, managing day-to-day IT activities, and ensuring seamless operations. You will serve as a liaison between local senior leaders and IT functions, providing technical support and guidance to enhance the digital employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner and consult with the business to address IT-related needs.
• Collaborate with IT teams to drive effective and efficient solutions.
• Set priorities for IT projects and engage appropriate teams.
• Manage day-to-day IT activities and address IT-related issues promptly.
• Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical employees.
• Act as a liaison between local senior leaders and IT functions.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues.
• Participate in the development of IT and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct training programs for users on applications and systems.
• Manage IT hardware lifecycle management and deskside support for the site.
• Provide 2nd level technical resolution for hardware issues.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience in IT operations or support.
