About the position

The IT Supply Chain Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as a strategic partner between the IT department and the supply chain function, ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives and enhance operational excellence. This role focuses on supply chain processes and technologies across procurement, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, and vendor management, fostering collaboration and delivering effective technology solutions to optimize supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the supply chain function.
  • Collaborate with supply chain leaders to develop an IT strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy.
  • Create and maintain a 3-year technology roadmap that aligns business capability gaps with future technology investments.
  • Partner with supply chain leadership to create and maintain a prioritized portfolio of technology projects.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to design and evaluate technology solutions that address business needs.
  • Manage service level expectations and improve service delivery performance.
  • Represent supply chain leadership in internal IT processes requiring business signoff or approvals.
  • Collaborate with vendors to evaluate technology solutions and manage vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Relationship Manager or similar role, preferably within the supply chain domain.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent understanding of Solution Delivery LifeCycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and conduct process analysis.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems, such as ERP, WMS, TMS, and SCM platforms.

Nice-to-haves

  • A master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience in project management (e.g., PMP) and supply chain management (e.g., APICS) is a plus.
