As an IT Analyst in Technology Consulting, you will provide technology consulting services to insurance clients, focusing on implementing Insurance Business Intelligence IT solutions. You will analyze business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, assist clients with designing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and manage teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Your role will also involve developing assessment frameworks for sourcing IT vendors, systems integration, and performance management IT solutions for planning and forecasting, analytics, and management reporting.
Responsibilities
- Provide technology consulting services to insurance clients.
- Analyze business requirements for alignment with technology architecture.
- Assist clients with designing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Focus on implementing Insurance Business Intelligence IT solutions.
- Develop assessment frameworks for sourcing IT vendors.
- Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress.
- Maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
- Cultivate business development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience defining business and technical requirements.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business, or related field and 4 years of work experience defining business and technical requirements.
- 3 years of relevant experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company.
- 3 years of experience working at or advising a property and casualty insurance carrier.
- 2 years of experience managing and supervising a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle.
- 3 years of experience researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, insurance industry practices, and new technologies.
- 3 years of experience with definition of technical requirements, systems and vendor selection, system integration, IT process reengineering, program/project management and implementation planning, and proof of concept.
- 3 years of experience in enterprise application integration, business intelligence/decision support, and enterprise data design and management.
- 2 years of Application/Package experience in Guidewire, OneShield, Exigen, MajescoMastek, Duck Creek, Insurity, or CSC.
