About the position

Astrosoft Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced IT Account Manager to lead initiatives that engage with clients and business partners to build new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and a proven track record in executing business strategies effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the IT Consulting business by developing, managing, and fostering relationships with prospective clients.
  • Maintain client relationships and identify growth opportunities within current clients through active communication.
  • Promote upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
  • Develop long-term relationships with prospective clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
  • Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, negotiate contracts, and present to clients.
  • Take initiatives in identifying growth opportunities.
  • Build strong client relationships to maintain existing business and acquire new customers.
  • Manage and develop client accounts to maintain favorable relationships with clients.
  • Build a strong pipeline of new and unexplored prospects in targeted industries and functions.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and events to promote IT services and resources.
  • Identify and nurture client-side opportunities and collaborate with the internal recruiting team to fulfill client needs.
  • Interview and hire the best talent to meet internal business needs.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in technology, business, or sales/marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Staffing and Consulting Services.
  • Familiarity with IT skills, procedures, and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with client leaders of all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to present and influence credibly at all levels of the organization.
  • Extremely organized, honest, and able to work independently and with a team.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven success in achieving and/or exceeding performance goals.
  • Competitive and performance-oriented individual driven to achieve goals.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines.
