About the position
The Irrigation Technician at BrightView is responsible for monitoring, testing, and maintaining irrigation systems. This role requires proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate potential issues in irrigation installations. The technician will conduct inspections, troubleshoot problems, and ensure the overall operation of irrigation systems, contributing to the company's commitment to high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and test new irrigation installations.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system problems.
- Observe pipe and valve placements.
- Evaluate start-ups, winterization, and overall operation of irrigation systems.
- Conduct and record detailed inspections of irrigation systems.
- Plan and execute upgrades of client irrigation systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of productive experience in the installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers, and pipe sizing.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends.
