About The Position
INTERMOUNTAIN FARMERS ASSOCIATION, a regional agricultural cooperative, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Irrigation Pivot Technician at the IFA Country Store in Roosevelt, Utah.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- A basic understanding of electrical work or an electrical certification
- An ability and desire to work outdoors and independently
- An ability to lift over 60 lbs routinely throughout the day
- Experience with heavy machinery
- A valid driver's license
- Experience in agricultural irrigation
Nice To Haves
- Multiple years of pivot experience preferred (ie set up, take down, running, and winterizing)
Responsibilities
- Will work on pivot repair and assembly for our customers
- Assist in Pivot sales and quotes as needed
- Recommend pivot upgrades and repairs as needed
- Winterize pivots yearly
- Become Rienke certified and keep up on the yearly recertification's.
