About the position

Tradesmen International is seeking experienced Journeyman Iron Workers for projects in the Harriman, TN area. This first shift opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $26/hour based on experience and skill level. The role involves working alongside skilled Craft Professionals to enhance and master ironworking skills.

Responsibilities

• Read & interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
• Erect, position & secure structural steel frameworks and components such as beams, girders, columns, and other structural elements
• Bolt, weld, or rivet metal components to ensure stability and compliance with project specifications
• Fabricate & install metal staircases, railings, and other ornamental components
• Operate welding equipment and other tools to cut, shape, and connect metals as required
• Safely operate cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment to position and secure loads
• Use hand and power tools, grinders and cutting torches proficiently

Requirements

• Experience as a Journeyman Iron Worker
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Proficient in welding and metal fabrication techniques
• Experience operating cranes and rigging equipment
• Familiarity with safety protocols in construction environments
