About the position
The position involves managing multiple food and beverage operation locations and warehouse operations at Hurricane Harbor in Arlington, TX. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring profitability through effective inventory control and P&L performance, and fostering team development and motivation. The manager will play a crucial role in the park's success by overseeing staff training, operational standards, and collaboration with other departments.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple food and beverage operation locations and warehouse operations.
- Ensure Best in Class Guest Service and exceptional revenue performance.
- Analyze metrics such as revenue, labor costs, and costs of goods to ensure profitability.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels within the park.
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high standards of service quality.
- Ensure adherence to employee 'Guest First' training guidelines and safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of operating budgets and plans.
- Monitor revenue control guidelines to prevent losses.
- Assist with regular department reporting.
- Work cohesively with other departments to improve issues and work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's in Hospitality or Business Management preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a food service environment.
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on food prep/presentation experience.
- Minimum 1-3 years of inventory control/management experience.
- Strong leadership, motivational, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- TABC and Serv Safe Certified or obtain certification within 60 days.
- Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
