About the position
The Investment Operations Lead at Clarke Financial Management (CFM) is responsible for overseeing the investment operations department, providing wealth management and investment advisory services. This role requires collaboration with team members to ensure accurate processing of investment account applications and client onboarding, while also mentoring and training other staff. The position emphasizes a client-focused approach, aiming to deliver exceptional value to high net worth individuals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review investment account applications
- Accurately describe value proposition of CFM's investment philosophy
- Perform data collection and manage the client onboarding process including risk tolerance questionnaire
- Facilitate rollover and transfer calls
- Gather and update client information in preparation of investment and service items
- Conduct service meetings, including DocuSign walkthroughs and signing forms
- Manage RMD client distributions
- Process bank information, address, and name changes
- Understand regulations related to investment account set-up
- Understand basic tax requirements for various investment accounts
- Identify opportunities during client interactions
- Conduct statement review calls
- Collaborate and mentor other staff, assisting in training of team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years' experience in financial services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage and process paperwork efficiently and accurately
- Warm, friendly personality with the ability to connect with people
- Willing attitude: 'no job is beneath me'
- Independent and autonomous with a 'get it done' mindset
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in fraud detection
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP Finance & Controlling
