About the position
The Investment Banking Associate in Real Estate at Baird plays a crucial role in supporting investment banking teams by providing execution support for public equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial advisory services. This position involves leading the preparation of company valuations, financial models, marketing documents, and client presentations, while also conducting research and analyses to support new business generation. Associates will work closely with senior bankers and client management, including C-Suite executives, throughout the M&A process, contributing to a unique culture that values diverse backgrounds and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide execution support for public equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial advisory services.
- Lead the preparation of company valuations, financial models, and marketing documents.
- Conduct research and various analyses to support new business generation.
- Work closely with senior bankers and client management on a variety of transactions.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of work experience in a financial or quantitative role.
- Experience working for a top-tier investment bank or real estate investment/transactional experience preferred.
- Proven analytical skills and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong academic record.
- Series 63 & 79 licensing preferred or ability to quickly obtain.
