About the position

The Investment Analyst position at Russell Investments is designed to provide relationship management and service delivery for a set of institutional OCIO clients. The role involves close collaboration with Client Chief Investment Officers (CCIO) to ensure high-quality client support and timely deliverables. The analyst serves as the primary in-office contact for clients, managing various aspects of client communication and investment performance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Provides front line contact for on-demand client calls and inquiries.
  • Identifies and prioritizes critical client requests and needs.
  • Conducts and participates in client meetings as appropriate.
  • Partners with CCIO as a back-up for client accounts, including direct client interaction via in-person meetings, email, and phone.
  • Manages and coordinates quarterly investment reviews, presentations, and client communication materials.
  • Conducts comprehensive investment policy statement review and development.
  • Handles investment implementation/rebalancing and product review and evaluation.
  • Prepares performance reporting and evaluation, and client portfolio design and construction.
  • Communicates with clients regarding product information, projects, and other needs.
  • Collaborates with CCIO and Portfolio Management to research and communicate client performance and key drivers of the investment process.
  • Coordinates design and creation of customized analysis and responses to ad-hoc client inquiries.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated and applied investment related experience including market and economic impacts, performance and investment analysis, or other related financial areas (2 Years).
  • Institutional investment management experience in client service, consulting, or portfolio management (2 Years).
  • Working knowledge of asset allocation theory, modeling, and performance measurement (2 Years).
  • Demonstrated client relationship ability (2 Years).
  • Technology skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint and database capability (2 Years).
