We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Inventory Specialist to join our team. Requirements

  • 2+ years of inventory experience.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Physical Capability: Lift and move objects 10-50lbs, team lift objects over 100lbs; stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders.
  • Skilled in operating warehouse equipment like hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Attentive to detail for detecting inventory discrepancies and defective products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the physical processing of all inventories, including receiving, stocking, transferring, organizing, counting, research and detailed discrepancy reporting.
  • Retrieve necessary stock to expedite orders efficiently, addressing any issues promptly to minimize delays.
  • Investigate Block List & Hold List occurrences, collaborating with warehouse personnel to resolve issues promptly and maintain smooth operations.
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory counts through diligent digital and physical counting processes.
  • Investigate and identify root causes of inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective measures to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Inspect returned merchandise, facilitating appropriate processing and disposition.
  • Handle processing and posting receiving transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate outgoing freight shipments as necessary, ensuring timely processing and delivery.
  • Update databases with incoming and outgoing product information across multiple warehouses to maintain accurate records.
  • Safely unload and receive incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness.
