About the position

As an Operations Specialist - Omni at Petco, you will be responsible for the operational execution within the Pet Care Center, focusing on Omni channel processes. This includes managing Ship from Store (SFS) operations, ensuring efficient product picking, packaging, and shipping. You will assist in receiving and stocking merchandise, provide guest service, and maintain operational guidelines to enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Support effective and efficient operations across the Pet Care Center.
• Assist in daily SFS picking, packing, and shipping.
• Unload and stock merchandise supplies according to operational guidelines.
• Process register transactions to create a great experience for guests.
• Adhere to and promote established safety procedures.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks to maintain the professional image of the Pet Care Center.
• Participate in quarterly and annual physical inventory counts.
• Complete Omni Channel and SFS projects following policies and procedures.
• Analyze on-site conditions and recommend necessary corrections.
• Coordinate with Pet Care Center/Field partners for proper setup and communication.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in mathematics and above-average communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor with a genuine interest in animal care.
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
