About The Position

We are Claybourne, one of the largest and fastest growing cannabis flower brands in California. Our team is known for being highly dedicated to our retail partners and consumers while going above and beyond with flower quality, flower consistency and innovative new product development. We are looking for a hard-working Inventory Control Specialist to join our Perris, California location.

Requirements

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess strong logistical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite or Google Workspace or related software a must
  • Must be minimum age 21
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check to include but not limited to criminal, DMV, former employment and meet company insurability requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain operations (regulated industry preferred)
  • Experience with ERP/inventory systems (e.g. Distru) and/or track-and-trace systems like METRC
  • Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution
  • High attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain accurate data and records
  • Ability to work within compliance standards and follow SOPs in a regulated environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check to include criminal history and previous employment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field preferred
  • Experience in the Cannabis industry a plus

Responsibilities

  • Execute accurate picking, weighing, and staging of raw materials to support production departments
  • Perform finished goods and raw material transfers accurately and full traceability
  • Maintain real-time inventory accuracy by recording all movements in ERP and track-and-trace systems (Distru & METRC)
  • Process inventory adjustments with proper documentation, ensuring alignment between physical inventory and system records
  • Reconcile discrepancies through investigation and root cause identification, escalating issues as needed
  • Coordinate and track transfers of raw materials to external vendors, ensuring timely and compliant execution
  • Participate in cycle counts and end-of-month physical inventories, supporting accurate reporting for both cannabis and non-cannabis materials
  • Maintain organized, clean, and efficient inventory storage and control areas to support operational flow and picking efficiency
  • Ensure full compliance with California cannabis regulations, maintaining audit-ready records and chain-of-custody integrity at all times
  • Collaborate cross-functionality with Production, Fulfillment, and Supply Chain, while supporting labeling, packaging, and continuous process improvement initiatives
