About the position
The Inventory Control Coordinator (Forklift Operator) at Chadwell Supply is responsible for managing inventory processes within the warehouse, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations. This role involves operating various types of forklifts, conducting cycle counts, processing returns, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of warehouse product aisles and areas, reporting any unsafe conditions to the Lead Inventory Control Coordinator.
- Conduct daily cycle counting and process customer and vendor returns as assigned by management.
- Complete and submit daily cycle count paperwork, relaying specific count or product issues to the Lead Inventory Control Coordinator.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods onto or off delivery vehicles as required.
- Record, process, and restock all customer returned products from delivery drivers.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and dock area, attending weekly safety meetings.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment including sit down forklifts, standing forklifts, and standing order selectors.
