About the position

The Corporate Inventory Control Clerk plays a crucial role in supporting inventory accuracy within the organization. This position involves collaboration with various teams, including iControl Analysts, Retail Stores, and Distribution Centers, to ensure efficient inventory management and accurate record-keeping of purchase orders. The clerk is responsible for reviewing and communicating discrepancies in inventory receipts and maintaining detailed records in the Inventory Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Review, decipher, and communicate overages and shortages from emails, manifests, and bill of ladings.
  • Communicate efficiently and concisely over the phone, in person, and through e-mail regarding variations in receipts and paperwork.
  • Escalate abnormalities observed in paperwork to senior colleagues expediently.
  • Quickly learn and become familiar with vendor and cross dock manifests, bill of ladings, and emails.
  • Accurately input information into the Inventory Management System in a timely and error-free manner.
  • Check and validate own work and the work of counterparts to minimize omissions or errors.
  • Learn advanced Microsoft Excel functions to maintain complex files.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner and work effectively within a high-caliber team.
  • Perform other work-related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year similar experience
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, vendors, and buyers.
  • Computer literate and detail-oriented.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
