About the position

The Seasonal Inventory Control Associate at Boot Barn plays a crucial role in maintaining store inventory control, ensuring that merchandise is accurately processed and available on the sales floor. This position supports the Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist by managing inbound and outbound inventory activities, contributing to a positive customer experience, and achieving sales goals. The associate is responsible for maintaining an organized stock room and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist in maintaining overall store inventory control.
• Process all incoming and outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify that all merchandise deliveries comply with company standards.
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor, ensuring compliance with ticketing and signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise according to Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Input freight information accurately and timely through appropriate systems.
• Execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets, or markdowns efficiently and timely according to company policies.
• Maintain a neat and orderly stock room compliant with company and state guidelines.
• Adhere to all local, federal, and state laws in addition to company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
