The Inventory Clerk- Maintenance provides purchasing and inventory support for the Maintenance Department, Production, and other departments as required. Your day-to-day may consist of: Processes purchase orders by generating numbers, entering records, and verifying part types and part numbers. Handles communication with vendors for ordering and receiving parts, including occasional pickup of stock. Compares invoices with purchase order records for accuracy and enters materials into SAP upon receipt and when parts are transferred. Manages inventory within SAP, supports accurate stocking levels, and dispenses parts to Maintenance and Production Departments. Receives, stores, and issues spare and replacement parts, equipment, and expendable items for repairs and maintenance. This role works in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to loud noises, strong odors, temperature fluctuations, moving machinery, wet or humid conditions, hazardous chemicals, high or confined areas, extreme temperatures, and vibration throughout various facility areas. This role also regularly engages in prolonged standing, walking, communicating, and sensory tasks throughout each shift, while frequently handling objects, climbing, balancing, and performing various physical movements such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as part of job duties. The use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus is required.
