About the position

The Inventory Assistant at Table Mountain Rancheria is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records related to the inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment. This full-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring that inventory levels are monitored, orders are placed timely, and records are kept up to date, contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Writes, types, or enters information into the computer system or excel spreadsheets to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records
• Files documents in established sequences and releases back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available
• Places orders for inventory items when stock is diminishing
• Conducts physical inventory counts and weekly cycle counts
• Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, part lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders

Requirements

• One year certificate from college or technical school unless otherwise waived by Tribal Council based on determined experience and accomplishments
• One (1) year related experience as well as other relevant education or work experience
• Knowledge of SAP or Sage
• Knowledge of customer service initiatives
• Ability to problem solve and communicate a solution
• Ability to pay attention to detail and find mistakes
• Skilled in communicating with small and large groups
• Skilled in keeping multiple objects organized
• Skilled in project management
